Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Srinagar and Shikara on Dal Lake

On landing at Srinagar airport, our representative meets you and drives you to your hotel or houseboat. After a little rest you head to Dal Lake for a relaxing shikara ride past floating gardens and houseboats. If time allows, stroll the boulevard along the water. Return for a warm Kashmiri dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar to Gulmarg day excursion

After breakfast you drive around two hours to Gulmarg, one of the highest meadows in the region. Ride the famous Gondola cable car toward Apharwat for panoramic views, walk the green meadows near the Golf Course, and enjoy the crisp mountain air. In peak season you can try snow activities or a pony ride. Drive back to Srinagar for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Srinagar to Sonmarg and Mughal gardens

Set out early for Sonmarg, the Meadow of Gold, roughly three hours away through the Sindh valley. Take in the pine forests and the Thajiwas glacier area, with an optional pony ride to the glacier viewpoint. On the way back, visit the Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar if time permits. Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam via saffron fields

Drive around two and a half hours to Pahalgam, passing Pampore saffron fields and apple orchards. Settle beside the Lidder river, then explore Betaab Valley and Aru Valley by local cab, or reach Chandanwari for river and meadow views. The valley is perfect for gentle walks and photos. Overnight stay in Pahalgam or back in Srinagar as per your plan.

Day 5: Pahalgam to Srinagar and departure

After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy any last riverside moments in Pahalgam, then drive back toward Srinagar. Depending on your flight time, stop for handicraft or dry fruit shopping in the city. Our team transfers you to Srinagar airport in good time for your onward journey, carrying home warm memories of the valley.

Is the Gondola ride in Gulmarg included in the package?

No. Gondola cable car tickets are purchased separately at Gulmarg and are not part of the package price. We help you plan timing and can guide you on booking, but the ticket cost is paid directly by you.

Does the itinerary really cover Sonmarg as well?
