About Us

Happy Jacks Tours and Travels is a family-run Kashmir tour operator and travel agency based in Srinagar. We plan and run Kashmir tour packages, hotel and houseboat stays, private taxi and cab hire, and activities across Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonmarg, Gurez, Doodhpathri and Ladakh. We have been arranging Kashmir trips for over eight years, and every trip is planned by people who live here and drive these roads in every season.

Who we are

We are a local team from Srinagar, not a reseller operating a brand from another city. That matters in Kashmir, where road conditions, snowfall, permits and closures change from day to day. Our drivers and hosts are Kashmiri, they know which hotel room has the view, when the Gulmarg climb is icy and which route is open, and they answer to us directly rather than being hired on the day.

What we own and what we arrange

• Hotels we run ourselves: The Villagio and The Pinus Resort in Pahalgam.
• Vehicles we run ourselves: Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Innova Crysta, Toyota Fortuner and a 12 seater Force Traveller, each with a local driver. See the full taxi and cab fleet.
• Arranged with trusted partners: Srinagar and Gulmarg hotels, Dal Lake houseboats, and activities such as the Gulmarg Gondola, shikara rides and skiing.
• Flights: we book your flights to Srinagar on request, shown as a separate line in your quote.

We say plainly which is which, so the hotel and cab you are quoted are the ones you actually get.

How we work

1. You message us on WhatsApp with your dates, group size and interests.
2. We send a written plan with named hotels, the vehicle, inclusions and a fixed price.
3. You confirm with a simple advance, and the balance is settled during the trip.
4. A local driver meets you at Srinagar airport or station, and our team stays reachable on WhatsApp for the whole trip.
