Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Srinagar and Dal Lake

You land at Srinagar airport, where your Happy Jacks driver meets you and transfers you to your hotel or houseboat. After settling in, you head to Dal Lake for a relaxed shikara ride past floating gardens and houseboats. If time allows, you visit the Mughal gardens at Nishat and Shalimar, framed by the Zabarwan hills, before an easy evening in the city.

Day 2: Srinagar to Gulmarg and the Gondola

After breakfast you drive roughly two hours to Gulmarg via Tangmarg, climbing through pine forest into the meadow. Here you ride the Gulmarg Gondola in two stages toward Apharwat, taking in the views over Khilanmarg. You explore the meadows and the historic Golf Course on foot. In winter, this is prime time for skiing and sledging before returning to Srinagar or a Gulmarg stay.

Day 3: Gulmarg Leisure and Departure
