St Mary Church sits quietly at the edge of Gulmarg's open meadow, a compact wooden chapel that dates back to the British era. How to reach: The church is in the heart of Gulmarg, a short walk from the main market and gondola area. Gulmarg is roughly a 50 to 55 km drive from Srinagar, taking about 2 to 2.5 hours by road via Tangmarg. Local taxis and shared cabs run from Srinagar and Tangmarg.
