Can activities be booked on the same day, or do they need advance notice?
Some, like a shikara ride or a short pony trek, can often be arranged same day. Others, particularly the ski course, hot air ballooning, or the Amarnath helicopter, are weather and slot dependent and are safer to arrange a day or more ahead so we can confirm availability before you show up expecting it.
